Without a doubt, this is the event of the year not to be missed by all Members! The Club turns 30! Preparations are under way for a very special evening to celebrate in style the Club’s 30th Anniversary. Together with a great dinner and special entertainment, formal presentations to long-time Members will also take place during the course of the evening. It will also be great to view on wide screen, images and footage of the Club since the early days. In particular, this will bring back a lot of great memories and nostalgia to all those Members who played a key role in the development of the Whitehorse Club since its inception in 1984. Despite the highs and lows, all members should be extremely proud of what the Club has achieved over the past three decades. Hundreds of celebrations, both private and social, sporting events, concerts, dinner dances and much more, have brought the Club to what it has become, an entertainment complex and a meeting point for Members and friends. Great credit to the Bocce players and the Circolo Anziani as they still support the Club with their activities on a weekly basis . Today the premises are used more and more by outside organisations and this is vital to the Club’s survival. The CFA, Medicare Local, Vic Roads, Deakin University, the Whitehorse Council and the Rotary Clubs, just to name a few, have become regular customers of the Club and we thank them for their ongoing support.
Saturday 6th September 2014, is a date not to forget! Your presence is required to honour your contribution to 30 years of history. Please join us on this special evening from 6.30pm. You will not regret it.
